# FAQ

> Answers to common questions about Alesta onboarding, analysis, documents, integrations, plans, and actions.

  <Accordion title="What is Alesta?">
    Alesta is an AI CMO workspace. It starts with a company domain, evaluates available public evidence, builds a reviewable company and marketing baseline, and gives the team structured outputs to inspect and correct.

  <Accordion title="What happens after I enter a domain?">
    The hostname can be preserved through signup without appearing in a public URL. The application attaches it to a workspace and starts the eligible profiling run. Results arrive progressively as individual stages finish.

  <Accordion title="Do I need a credit card for the first analysis?">
    No. The eligible free domain-first profiling run is zero-rated and does not require a payment card.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What can the first baseline include?">
    Subject to source availability, it can include a working company profile, mobile and desktop PageSpeed observations, eligible Core Web Vitals field data, homepage and SEO observations, competitor candidates, Product information, Marketing strategy, and an `llms.txt` draft.

  <Accordion title="Why do results appear at different times?">
    Site checks, crawls, provider requests, model work, competitor research, and document writing finish independently. Alesta publishes each surface when its own result is ready.

  <Accordion title="Does unavailable mean zero?">
    No. Unavailable means the source or operation did not produce usable evidence. Not measured means the current run did not ask the question. Neither should be reported as zero.

  <Accordion title="Why is Core Web Vitals unavailable when PageSpeed works?">
    PageSpeed is a lab run. Core Web Vitals uses eligible aggregated real-user field data. Google can provide the lab run while lacking enough field samples for the domain or device.

  <Accordion title="Can I correct what Alesta inferred?">
    Yes. Eligible workspaces can correct the company description, generated documents, competitor set, active Signals, and other actions exposed by the current server catalog. Some actions require Pro and credits.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Are proposed competitors final?">
    No. They are candidates derived from public overlap and should be accepted, removed, or replaced by a person who understands the market.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Does Alesta automatically publish or send anything?">
    No. The current product does not automatically publish social posts, send email, deploy code, change ads, or schedule recurring campaigns. A supported Signal can create a GitHub issue only after explicit review, repository selection, and confirmation.

  <Accordion title="What do integrations add?">
    Integrations add authorized provider context or support a narrowly confirmed action. A connection does not guarantee that a plan includes the capability or that the provider has usable data.

  <Accordion title="Why does Traffic show only search or only audience data?">
    Search Console and Google Analytics are independent lanes. Connect and select the missing provider if you need its metrics. Alesta adapts panel titles to the lanes that are readable.

  <Accordion title="Are values labeled mock data real?">
    No. They demonstrate a panel's intended structure and must not be reported as measurements for the selected workspace.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What is included in Pro?">
    Pro adds monthly capacity and access to eligible readings, chat turns, and workspace actions. The current Billing catalog is the source of truth for features, allowance, price, and interval. Provider and data availability still apply.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Who can change billing or invite members?">
    Only the workspace Owner can change billing and manage invitations or members. New invitations grant the Admin role.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What happens when credits run out?">
    New paid work can be blocked. A run that exhausts credits mid-flight can stop with an out-of-credits status. Open Billing to review usage, reset timing, and owner-controlled plan options.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can chat use attachments?">
    Yes. Text, code, and extracted PDF content can be sent as message context. Common images can be previewed locally, but the current version does not send image content to the model. Attachments do not automatically become persistent workspace files.

  <Accordion title="Where can I see what the analysis is doing?">
    Open the right side panel, select **Logs**, and use **Activity** for human-readable progress or **Operations** for the technical run stream.
