Alesta workspaces use two user-facing roles: Owner and Admin. New invitations grant the Admin role.

Roles

The Owner has administrative responsibility for membership and billing. An Admin can work in the product but cannot perform owner-only changes.

Invite an Admin

1

Open Team settings

Open the avatar menu, select Team, or open Settings > Team.
2

Select Invite user

Only the Owner sees an active member-management flow.
3

Enter the email

Enter the intended recipient’s email address. The role is fixed to Admin.
4

Add an optional message

Include enough context for the recipient to recognize the workspace without sharing sensitive information.
5

Review seat impact

Read any seat quantity, prorated charge, currency, and effective timing shown before you confirm.
6

Create and share the invitation

Alesta returns an invitation result. If the product says direct sharing is required, copy the generated link and send it privately to the intended email owner.
An invitation link grants workspace access. Treat it as sensitive and never post it in a public channel.

Pending invitations

The Owner can filter the member table and manage pending invitations.
  • Re-invite creates or surfaces the current invitation result. The new link may replace the one the recipient needs.
  • Cancel invitation prevents the pending link from granting access.
  • Verify the email before either action.

Remove a member

Before removal:
  • confirm the workspace and person;
  • reassign business and review responsibilities;
  • record which connected providers the person owned;
  • understand any seat or billing effect;
  • preserve decisions the team still needs.
Removing a member ends that person’s Alesta workspace access. It does not automatically revoke access they hold directly inside Google, GitHub, or another external provider.

Accept an invitation

Open the invitation with the intended Alesta account. If the invitation is expired, canceled, already accepted, or associated with another email, ask the workspace Owner to create a current invitation.
