The right side panel contains Chat and Logs. Collapse it with the close control, then use Open panel in the Signals header to restore it.

Chat access

Starting a new chat turn is included in Pro. A free workspace opens the panel to a clear Pro explanation instead of offering starter prompts that it cannot send. Existing conversation history and an already-running or paused conversation can remain readable even when a new turn is unavailable. The server remains the final authority for each action.

What chat can do

The current assistant is designed to work inside available workspace context. Depending on the tools exposed to the workspace, it can:
  • list and read generated Alesta documents;
  • explain the marketing strategy or competitor analysis;
  • read eligible existing workspace files;
  • edit an eligible uploaded text file through the protected action flow;
  • ask a structured follow-up question;
  • draft text in the conversation for you to review and copy.
It cannot automatically publish, send, schedule, open a pull request, deploy code, run an arbitrary product flow, or create a persistent workspace file from nothing.
A drafted social post stays in chat. Alesta does not publish it to the platform.

Conversations

Use the conversation selector at the top of Chat to:
  • start a new conversation;
  • reopen a recent conversation;
  • see whether a conversation is still running;
  • load older conversation history when available.
Alesta saves the last explicit chat choice for the current workspace and user. Switching workspaces changes the context and conversation scope. If the assistant needs a decision, Chat can show Awaiting reply with a single-choice, multiple-choice, yes/no, free-text, or credential prompt. Answer the prompt in place so the current turn can continue.

Attach files to a message

Use the attachment control, paste a file, or drag a file onto the chat input. Supported client-side attachment categories include:
  • text and markup files;
  • common source-code files;
  • CSV, TSV, JSON, XML, YAML, and similar text formats;
  • PDF files, with text extracted in the browser;
  • common browser-readable image formats for local preview.
The current per-file limit is 20 MB. Long pasted text can be inserted directly or added as a text attachment.
Text, code, and extracted PDF content can be folded into the message sent to the assistant. Image attachments are preview-only in the current version and are not sent as model context.
Attachments in this input are message context. Do not assume they become persistent workspace files.

Stop and recover a turn

While a response is running, use the stop control to cancel it. If you scroll away from the latest output, Jump to latest restores automatic following. Error cards remain in the transcript so you can read the failure before retrying.

Logs

Select Logs, then choose one of two views:
A human-readable timeline of what the baseline searched, decided, skipped, and completed. It opens at the latest line and can load older history. While a run is active, it shows Baseline analysis is running….
Use Activity for normal review. Use Operations when support or engineering asks for the exact step and status behind a delayed or failed result.
